The Urban Environment

So, what is the urban environment? To me it’s everything you experience in an urban environment. It’s the combination of nature and the city. It includes the design of buildings, the use of green space, the materials and methods used to create, destroy, fix . . .
My goal is to catalog and opine on the advances (and regressions) of society in regards to creating a better urban environment. This topic is broad because it includes transportation, housing, urban planning, recycling, energy, etc . . . It’s narrow because all of these things relate to the urban experience and how to make it better.
I know the ideas present above are not clear but the victory is in the fact that something got written, not what. Part of this experiment is about focus and motivation, about creating habits that lead to accomplishment, no matter how substantial. A veritable “Just do it” if you will.
