Hello. I’m Vihar Sheth and I run green | rising. I’m energized by issues pertaining to sustainability and what we can do as informed citizens of the planet to lessen our impact and change the way we go about our lives.
I have an undergraduate degree in engineering and am presently getting my master’s in business administration, while working. I advise against that. In my short time in the workplace I’ve worked for federal government as a researcher, a large shipping company as an engineer, a small non-profit as a program manager for economic development and a large financial services firm as a financial advisor. I presently work for a large bank’s community development wing underwriting investments in affordable housing around the country. As far a job goes it’s not too bad a gig. I’m still relatively young and naive but feel I’ve had above average exposure to the world and its ways.
