All Things Eco Blog Carnival Volume Eighty Five

All Things Eco Blog Carnival Volume Eighty Five is now available on the All Things Eco Blog. There are some great posts in this carnival on topics ranging from Alternative Energy to Travel and Transportation. Also included is my recent post, “St. Louis County Council Places Transit Tax On The Ballot,” on efforts to raise money for the St. Louis Metro system. Enjoy the carnival.

The 29th Carnival of the Liberals

The latest Carnival of the Liberals is up and features my post, “The World Trade Organization and Sustainable Development“. The author prefaces the carnival with this:

“As the glow of our well-deserved victory in the American midterm elections slowly fades, we should be looking forward to the future. Tomorrow, America’s new Democratic Congressional majority will be sworn in, and it’s up to us to keep our new leaders on course and remind them whenever they falter of the progressive principles we elected them to uphold. Just as importantly, we need to work on building a political infrastructure to cement our new majority so that we do not have to suffer through another national nightmare like that of the last few years. I believe that the posts in this edition provide some excellent reminders both of why the Republicans lost power and what the Democrats should focus on if they want to keep it.”

There’s a good bunch of stuff on this carnival. My favorite is actually some artwork I found on one of the writer’s sites. Check it out here.

Carnival of Entrepreneurs #4

One of my latest posts, Turn on Your Love Light, is featured on today’s Carnival of Entrepreneurs #4, hosted by Startup Spark – “Sparking startups with advice, inspiration and a bit of craziness…”. Ben Yoskovitz even went so far as to feature my post as one of his four highlights. Apparently he shares my interest in and recognizes the importance of social entrepreneurship. Thanks for the recognition Ben, it’s appreciated.

Carnival Ride

I’d like to take a few seconds to recognize a blog carnival since it helps my teeny tiny little blog world go ’round. The latest Carnival of the Capitalists is up at Free Money Finance. The latest issue can be found here and features my post The World Trade Organization and Sustainable Development, as well as many others related to capitalism. Carnival of the Capitalists is a great blog carnival for all things related to capitalism and Free Money Finance is a wonderful blog on growing net worth. Check it out if you get a chance.

Advertising Age

I’d like to give a shout out to Martin Calle. He runs a blog called “Advertising Age” and will be featuring one of my articles in a carnival he hosts. According to his website, he “is to marketing, advertising and sales what Cirque du Soleil is to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.” That’s a bold statement but he’s the brain behind some killer products like Tylenol Gelcaps and Chunky Soup. The theme of his site is “Critical and analytical consumer packaged goods thought leadership”. I’m glad he shares some of my views about sustainability and was happy to reciprocate a post about him.
