(i) Neta: The electric car maker says it will soon open 100 dealerships across the continent. The first one popped up in Nairobi in July. Nineteen more African countries are on the list and meant to sell 20,000 EVs within three years.
(ii) XPeng: The automotive group is starting its Africa push in Egypt where it is offering high-end electric vehicles such as the P7 sedan and the G9 off-roader.
